About Swim Serpentine

Swim Serpentine is London’s hugely popular festival of open water swimming where I will be swimming a mile around Hyde Park’s famous Serpentine lake on the 14th of September.

This is the perfect event for an enjoyable and memorable open water swim while fundraising for charity, so I have decided to put my best swimming stroke forward and raise funds for the CLEFT charity.

Why CLEFT?

I have worked as an assistant psychologist in one of the UK's specialist cleft lip/palate centres for just over a year and a half and recently became a part of CLEFT charity Trainee Section. Through this experience, I have learnt how impactful cleft care can be over peoples lives.

CLEFT are a charity focused on providing permanent, sustainable ways to improve cleft care in both the UK and overseas and rely donations and fundraisers to provide life-changing care.
Although you aren't taking the plunge with me, I would appreciate support through donations of any size! And with all of CLEFT's administrative costs covered until 2025, your donation really will be going to a good cause, funding an international or research project.

Thank you! Anna Sanders
